Over the past five years I’ve worked at The Corner Bookstore, a New York City institution since 1978. There, I curate and manage a diverse selection of books across nine of the store’s 30 sections, but specialize primarily in Young Adult and Children’s literature. In addition to my roles as a book buyer and seller, I am also the social media manager, designing and creating content for the store’s online platforms.

In my free time, I also work with veteran and up-and-coming authors on a freelance basis as an editor and illustrator.

Prior to my career in books I wrote for various New York City based media outlets, both large and small.

I’ve always loved working with the written word, whether that be in books, with writers, or writing for magazines and newspapers. Stories allow us to know ourselves a little bit better and understand our ever changing world that much more.
